Hank Pronk from Canada, Ainsworth, built his own submarine. This is a real submarine that seems to be able to dive very deep.

The realization of his dream comes after four decades of building a do-it-yourself submarine. And this submarine is his eighth attempt to make a functional and safe submarine.

With his latest work called Elementary 3000 (E3000), Hank decided to go a little further. With this submarine, he pushed the boundaries of “homemade” design. It has been tested and certified to a depth of 900 meters (3000 feet). Depth estimation is not just a theoretical calculation. Namely, the submarine was tested in a pressure chamber in Vancouver to a depth of 880 meters. Tests have shown that there are no flaws and that his submarine is actually completely safe.
