SEIKO & PADI

SEIKO & PADI Aware foundation

Seiko Watch Corporation is pleased to announce a new partnership with PADI® and PADI AWARE – in support of the Marine Waste initiative. Which aims to clean the ocean of marine pollution as much as they can.

Seiko embraced the challenge by donating a percentage of the earnings from the Seiko Prospex Save the Ocean collection to encourage the diving community in removing and prevent pollution in aquatic areas.

SEIKO diving watches have a long history, starting with the first Japanese diving watch in 1965. Since then, SEIKO diving watches have continuously evolved in response to the requirements of professional divers. Releasing plenty of new models that provide substantial improvements in safety, reliability, readability, and simplicity of use.

Today, Seiko proudly maintains the global standard for diving watches with its Prospex series, conserving heritage while expanding on five-decade-old advancements.

At the heart of the PADI AWARE Foundation program ™ The Marine Debris program is the world’s largest underwater scientific movement of citizens and a clean-up initiative known as Dive Against Debris®. More than 70,000 divers from all over the planet have contributed to the creation of the world’s most comprehensive underwater database, which is actively shared with NGOs, governments, and local communities in order to campaign for change and inform long-term waste management solutions.

Seiko is happy to support PADI’s efforts to clean up and prevent the generation of new marine pollution, all in the name of a healthy ocean for us and generations to come.
