Can you handle this much blackness? Omega’s diving model, simply called “Black Black”, nurtures a “stealth” look and is considered to be quite attractive among many scuba divers.
The Seamaster Diver 300M becomes perfectly black on black, as you would expect from its sweet name, and you have to admit that both the name and the watch’s appearance have a hint of mystery about them. This is actually a kind of festival of monochromatic beauty performed entirely in black in its most extreme form.
Its darkened dial featuring black PVD indexes and skeletal hands with a black coating, as opposed to a black wavy pattern in a high-tech, again black, the 43.5-millimeter-diameter ceramic case is a truly enigmatic and somewhat intimidating variant on a diver’s hand. Of course, the diving ring is black, and it all fits nicely on a black rubber bracelet.
However, if you turn the watch to the other side, through the sapphire crystal on the back you will see the Calibra 8806 rotor which is not black and the letters imprinted in it are red. Maybe the designers got tired of black?
By the way, the Seamaster Diver 300M Black Black model has all the features of a diving watch and even a helium valve that is located in the 10 o’clock position. Water resistance is guaranteed up to 300 meters in depth. The retail price of this black diving model from Omega’s workshop is around $8700 USD.
